Experience the opportunity to taste a selection of rare wines with cellarmaster Andries Burger in the Paul Cluver Wines barrel cellar. Andries and managing director Paul Cluver will carefully select and present bottles from the family’s private vinoteque, including wines from the Paul Cluver portfolio, Andries’ Cape Winemakers Guild Auction wines and international wines from Burgundy. Spaces for this rare tasting experience are strictly limited to just 10 guests. The cost is R750 per person and advance booking is essential.
What’s a festival weekend without mouthwatering food? Bangkok Street Food will be offering a variety of Asian-inspired delights from their famous food truck on both Saturday and Sunday (09h00 - 17h00). The Thai chicken green curry is a must-try along with our Gewurtztraminer, whilst the vegetarian tofu Pad Thai is a winner with our Riesling Close Encounter. Of course, you can’t miss the spring roll selection - and pair the delicious sushi platters with a bottle of our Estate Chardonnay! Purchase your favourite dishes and wines, and enjoy them under the trees in our garden. Pop in for a sip and a snack on your way through the valley, or bring your picnic blankets for a lazy afternoon of great food and wine.
There’ll be a jumping castle to keep the kiddies entertained, too!
Reservations for the cellar tasting may be made by contacting Sharon on firstname.lastname@example.org (bookings for general wine tasting and dishes from Bangkok Street Food are not required).
