Guests can expect to enjoy live entertainment by one of South Africa’s most formidable blues artists, Basson Laubscher, a glass of Sydney Back Brandy or glühwein on arrival, and a two course meal consisting of slow-roasted lamb shank and decadent Sydney Back Brandy pudding. Backsberg’s award-winning wines will also be available for sale on the evening.

What better way to spoil Mom on Mother’s Day than with a fabulous Sunday feast at Backsberg! Guests will be greeted with a glass of bubbly or rosé on arrival and moms will each be treated to a special Mother’s Day gift from the team. Grape-Inspired Lunch at Anthonij Rupert Wyne

The grape - small and unpretentious, yet responsible for a worldwide phenomenon spanning thousands of years, resulting in a plethora of superb varietals for which we as wine lovers are forever grateful.

On Saturday 24 March, Anthonij Rupert Wyne estate in Franschhoek will pay homage to this bountiful fruit by hosting a special grape inspired lunch.

The lunch, which will take place on the terrace at Anthonij Rupert Tasting Room, will feature an appetising harvest style feast served in three course.
