Established in 1941, Perdeberg Wines is situated in the third oldest town in South Africa, being Paarl. Our winery lies at the foot of the magnificent Paardeberg Mountain, named after the scores of Cape Mountain Zebra that once roamed this beautiful mountainside. Perdeberg uses small berried, intensely flavoured grapes from low yielding dry land bush vines on rich, diverse soils across a number of microclimates to create premium wines of excellence and difference. The Dry Land Collection Range is testimony to this. Grapes grown under dry land conditions create intensely flavoured and succulent wines, as these stressful conditions result in smaller berries with a lower skin to juice ratio, producing high quality wines.
