Val de Vie Estate is widely recognised for its exceptional wines. The French Huguenots who settled in the valley during the second half of the seventeenth century brought with them their skills and passion for winemaking. In 1783, the original land – now known as Val de Vie Estate – was granted to Huguenot descendant Abraham Andries le Roux.
