The warm south-easterly sea breeze is chilled by the Benguela Current flowing up from Antarctica, which cools the grapes at night after warm summer days, irrigated by above-average rainfall for perfect viniculture.
 
The 200-hectare estate also boasts lavender fields, olive groves and an 18-hole adventure golf course. Vineyard tours, wine tasting on the lagoon and wine tastings and pairings at the Tasting Room make this estate a Cape Winelands gem.
